Infomart
Infomart is a global pioneer in the design, development and supply of Power over Ethernet (PoE) “Powered Device” PD products under the brand name PoweredEthernet™.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a system which transmits electrical power, along with data, to network devices over a single standard Ethernet data cable, instead of a separate power and a separate data cable.
Infomart offer Powered Device (PD) solutions from Power over Ethernet splitters, to highly integrated PoE modules, to on board silicon. Our High PoE splitter is the world´s first, high power, IEEE802.3af splitter offering up to 30 watts of output power.
Products Include:
- High PoE Boards & Splitters
- PoE Injectors
- PoE Modules
Product Feature
The PEB9100BT series of Power over Ethernet (POE) board, offers a completely ready to use all in one board IEEE802.3bt
POE solution, offering type 4, Class 8 and output power up to 90 Watts when sourced from a compatible POE Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE).
The PEB9100BT has full functional compliance with the IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard and backward compliance to IEEE802.3af & IEEE802.3at standards.
The PEB9100BT is equipped with input ESD protection and gives choice of input connector. It provides functionalities like, Power Mode, Current Mode and IMPS (Intelligent Maintain Power Signature) to avoid the power disconnect from PSE. MEC pin of the PEB9100BT allows to read power and current limit configuration from the system microcontroller.
Advance Circuit topology of PEB9100BT provides very high efficiency up to 92% and well-regulated low noise and low ripple output with the in-built overload, output short-circuit and in-rush current protections.
The devices provide optional feature that can detect the presence of wall adapter power and allow a smooth switch-over from the PoE power source to the wall adapter.
802.3BT overview
IEEE 802.3bt is a standard for Power over Ethernet (PoE) that provides up to 100W of power over a single twisted pair cable. This third generation PoE standard, also known as PoE++, builds upon the previous standards (802.3af and 802.3at) and offers increased power delivery capabilities.
Key Features:
- Type 4 PoE: Supports up to 100W of power delivery using all four pairs of a balanced twisted pair cable (Cat6).
- Increased power: Doubles the power output of previous standards, enabling the powering of more demanding devices such as high-power IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
- Improved efficiency: Offers lower standby power consumption and specific enhancements for IoT applications.
- Backward compatibility: Compatible with existing 802.3at and 802.3af devices, allowing for seamless integration into existing networks
