Description
PEM1300 Series of 12.95W PoE Module with Bridge Rectifiers Power over Ethernet (PoE) Powered Device (PD) power extraction modules have complete compliance with the standard power IEEE 802.3af PoE standard. They are designed to extract power from a CAT5 (or higher) Ethernet cable when supplied by IEEE802.3af compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) Injectors, Midspans and Network Switches. Above all, the PEM1300 Series include two onboard Bridge Rectifiers.
With the increasing demand for “Green Power” IEEE has emphasized the need for power “right-sizing”. Hence, the PEM1300 series PD modules provides full PoE signature and programmable power classification for granular power management.
The module features a highly efficient DC to DC converter and offers a low output Ripple / low output Noise Solution when compared to other PoE Extraction Modules. They also meet the IEEE 802.3af compliance for 1500 Volt isolation between the input and output. In-built overload and output short-circuit protection ensure robustness in the field.
PoE Module with Bridge Rectifiers. The PEM1300 Series PoE Modules are equipped with on board bridge rectifiers and require minimal external components resulting in less PCB real estate.
The PEM1300 series provide a quick, easy, and low cost method for Ethernet equipment manufacturers to “PoE enable” their equipment.
PEM1300 Series PoE Modules are available in three voltages in order to meet the requirements of different applications.
