Emlid Reach M2 can be installed within an asset to provide a position, while also providing a location of the asset to the controller via a third-party compatible device. Emlid’s Reach RS2+ can also be used for providing a position stream to a piece of equipment.

Cost Saving
Emlid's Reach RS2+ or Reach RS3 with their RTK GPS GNSS receivers capability makes taking an accurate position for each drill hole easy. A drill map showing the position and results of each drill hole can then be plotted onto a plan of the mine. A reading taken using the Reach RS2+ or Reach RS3 in RTK mode will result in a particular drill hole being re-located (Staked Out) to within centimetres. A mine boss can then make an educated decision on where to open the next cut based on the return on investment.
