Description
The Tallysman TW1027 is an embedded Low Power L1 GPS / GNSS Antenna. As such it is ideal for battery opperated applications. Such as positioning, fleet management and asset tracking.
TW1027 requires a very low current consumption (just 2 mA) with constant characteristics over supply voltages from 2.5V to 16V. As a result it is amongst the lowest power devices available. Desite this, it still performs with an excellent noise figure.
Featuring a precisely tuned, single feed patch element that achieves 40% wider bandwidth than competitive antennas, the TW1027 supports 1 dB RHCP received power across the full frequency. Additionally, the TW1027 has a dual stage Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with a mid-section SAW that supports a great axial ratio across the full frequency.
Features of the TW1027 Embedded Low Power L1 GNSS Antenna
- Nominal 2 mA current draw
- Invariant response, 2.5 to 16 VDC Supply
- Low Noise 1.0 dB
- Axial ratio: 4 dB
- High gain: 24 dB
Benefits of the TW1027 Embedded Low Power L1 GNSS Antenna
- Longer battery life
- Excellent signal to noise ratio
- RoHS compliant
- Excellent out of band signal rejection
Tuning
Furthermore Tallysman offer a tuning service for their OEM antennas. The performance of the TW1010 can be optimised to give the best results for an indivudual OEM installation environment.
